The 4x400 relay of Oakley, Maisvorewa, Foote and Smith ran 3:27.65, the NCAA's fastest and second in program history.

Texas Tech's women’s 4x400 relay posted 3:33.42 for No. 2 all-time with Kelley, Afrifa, Ewusi and Balde; men's team ran 3:06.50 with Uter, Boyce, Tinega and Neal. In men's triple jump, Seremes reached 16.38 meters for second. Women's triple jump saw Ruta Lasmane and Grace Oshiokpu both at 13.44 meters for first and fourth, with Olga Szlachta at 13.28 for eighth, all personal or season bests. Titus Kimaru ran 7:53.19 in men's 3000 meters for second all-time at Texas Tech, Victor Kipkoech 7:53.85 for fourth. Malachi Snow placed second in 60-meter hurdles at 7.56. Antoine Andrews and Success Umukoro advanced to 60-meter finals.
