The second round of Chile's 2025 presidential elections, pitting the two top candidates from November's first round, occurs Sunday, December 14, with mandatory voting at the same polling sites as before (check at consulta.servel.cl with RUN or call 600 6000 166).
Voters must present an original ID card (cédula) or passport; both are accepted if expired no earlier than December 14, 2024 (one year prior). Other documents like ID applications, driver's licenses, or copies/digital images are invalid.
Designated polling officials (vocales de mesa), same as first round, must attend or face fines of 2-8 UTM (~$139,000-$556,000). Those who serve earn two-thirds of a UF (~$26,000). With only two ballots, voting will be expedited.
