Supreme Court president visits justice fair in Santiago

Gloria Ana Chevesich toured the stands of the fair organized in front of the Palacio de los Tribunales yesterday. The activity aimed to bring judicial services closer to the community.

Supreme Court president Gloria Ana Chevesich attended the justice fair held on Tuesday in the plaza in front of the Palacio de Tribunales in Santiago. The Regional Secretariat of Justice and Human Rights organized the event with participation from entities including the Civil Registry, Gendarmería and university legal clinics.

Chevesich visited the stands and learned about products made in Gendarmería's Education and Work Centers by people deprived of liberty. She also highlighted the presence of the bus from the Justicia Móvil initiative, which provides guidance on issues such as domestic violence and child support.

Other authorities present included seremi Ximena Pulgar and undersecretary Pablo Mira. The justice buses have operated for more than a decade and maintain a public schedule of tours across the country.
