TWICE leader Jihyo is facing online criticism after crediting BTS and senior groups for paving the way for K-pop's global success in a recent interview.
In the interview, Jihyo stated that the group is “just following in their footsteps” and expressed gratitude for what predecessors have done. She also noted the role of content channels in helping K-pop artists gain a stronger global presence, pointing out that Instagram and TikTok challenges were not available during her debut era.
