VD Satheesan will take oath as chief minister on Monday at 10 AM along with 20 ministers, marking the UDF coalition's return to power in Kerala.

Kerala's UDF coalition secured 102 of 140 assembly seats in recent polls, ending a decade out of power. VD Satheesan submitted the list of 20 ministers to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar.

The swearing-in ceremony will be held at 10 AM at Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. It includes 11 from Congress, five from IUML and others from allies.

Satheesan noted regional and social balance in selections. He said several deserving leaders could not be accommodated.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi are expected to attend. Portfolio allocation will be finalised later.
