A man in his twenties was assaulted by several people in Falun just before midnight on the night leading into Saturday.
The incident took place in the city center during the ongoing Åfesten festival, which began on Friday. Police received the alarm at quarter to twelve and searched for the perpetrators without finding any suspects. Christina Hallin, police spokesperson, confirmed the assault occurred in the center but could not say whether it was connected to the festival. A report of assault without a suspect has been filed. Police have no information on whether the man required emergency medical care.
