Zegna revenues rise 10 percent in second quarter

Ermenegildo Zegna Group reported second-quarter revenues of 517.1 million euros, up 10.3 percent from a year earlier. The increase came despite softer wholesale sales in the EMEA region.

The Milan-based company, which owns the Zegna and Thom Browne brands and licenses Tom Ford Fashion, said first-half revenues reached 987.3 million euros, a gain of 6.4 percent.

Executive chair Ermenegildo “Gildo” Zegna highlighted the results in a statement. “I am particularly proud to report double-digit growth in the group’s revenues in the past quarter, with sequential acceleration across all brands,” he said.

The Zegna brand posted the strongest growth, with revenues rising 16.9 percent to 324.3 million euros. Tom Ford Fashion increased 4.5 percent to 89.1 million euros, while Thom Browne remained flat at 64.9 million euros.

The Americas region led performance with a 20 percent increase to 165.3 million euros. Greater China rose 12.2 percent to 112 million euros. Direct-to-consumer sales grew 16.4 percent as the company continued to shift focus away from wholesale channels.
