6397 unveils resort 2027 collection with updated basics

Designer Lizzie Owens presented the 6397 resort 2027 lineup, focusing on wearable pieces with subtle updates.

The collection emphasized elevated basics through details like side darts on jeans and extra padding on nylon bomber jackets. Owens updated signature items including tees, jeans, knits, and coats with peppy colors and polka dots.

A cherry-red t-shirt featured a built-in buttoned knit cardigan panel. Other tees incorporated rounded stitching inspired by sports jerseys, while dress trousers received graphic side stripes referred to as the marching band pant.

Washed canvas jackets showed a sun-bleached patina. Knits included shaggy cashmere tassels, and blazers had four buttons for a 1990s feel. Owens stated the goal was a light collection amid heavier times.

The pieces drew comparisons to styles Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy might wear in 2026.
