Creative director Kim Bekker presented the Isabel Marant Resort 2027 collection during a showroom visit. The designs emphasize fundamentals with a more grown-up approach.
Bekker said she wanted to refocus on what makes the brand cool. She highlighted color structuring silhouettes in pale neutrals, red, brown, and black. Examples include a leather utility blazer and a draped ecru jersey dress.
The collection features looser trousers at the top that slim through the leg, along with a barrel-cut pant in red leather. A long sharp jacket made from coated canvas adds attitude and proportion, while technical nylon blousons and featherweight fabrics suit warmer conditions.
Accessories include latticed sandals, the cleavage shoe, hand-woven belts, and the Mavea tote in raffia. A leopard Pipa bag, hoop earrings, and etched bangles round out the lineup. Embellishments appear toned down with touches like abstracted tiger stripes and a cocoon-like faux-fur coat.
Bekker has maintained the offhand, sexy, bohemian vibe that has defined Isabel Marant for over 30 years.
