Chilean tennis player Alejandro Tabilo defeated Argentine Lautaro Midón in three sets and advanced to the quarterfinals of the ATP Bastad tournament.
Alejandro Tabilo defeated Lautaro Midón 6-4, 6(5)-7, 6-4 in two hours and 45 minutes. The Chilean thus ended a streak of four consecutive losses on the circuit.
The match was decided in the third set after an exchange of breaks. Tabilo took the third break point opportunity in the ninth game to close out the contest.
In the quarterfinals, Tabilo will face Argentine Thiago Tirante, who eliminated Nikoloz Basilashvili.
