Arcade Fire's Win Butler joins The Killers at Colombia festival

The Killers were joined onstage by Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler for performances of 'Rebellion (Lies)' and 'When You Were Young' during their set at Festival Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá. The show took place at Parque Simón Bolívar on March 21, 2026. Earlier, frontman Fran Healy of Travis guested on 'Side'.

On March 21, 2026, The Killers headlined Festival Estéreo Picnic at Bogotá's Parque Simón Bolívar. During their encore, Brandon Flowers introduced Arcade Fire's Win Butler to the crowd, saying: “We’ve got a little treat for everyone. One of our favourite bands is Arcade Fire. It’s a hell of a thing, you know, when you’re putting records out and you’re starting your band, and you’ve got these other people that are coming out and they have similar influences, and they’re so good and it frustrates you but it also makes you want to be better. Anyway, that’s what Win Butler does for us.” With Butler, the band performed Arcade Fire's 'Rebellion (Lies)' from their 2004 album Funeral, followed by their own 'When You Were Young' from 2006's Sam's Town. They closed with 'Mr. Brightside' after earlier covering Arcade Fire's 'The Suburbs' and Travis's 'Side' with Fran Healy. The full set included 'Read My Mind', 'Somebody Told Me', 'Smile Like You Mean It', 'Human', 'All These Things That I’ve Done' and others. Fan footage captured the collaborations. Separately, Flowers had performed 'When You Were Young' with Dawes in January at the Concert For Altadena. He has indicated The Killers' eighth album may arrive in 2027, post his solo project. Butler announced his separation from bandmate Régine Chassagne in October after 22 years.
