Ubisoft announced that its Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced remake has sold 3.5 million units in its first 14 days, exceeding annual expectations.
The publisher's financial report for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27 highlighted the strong performance. Net bookings reached €256 million, down 9 percent year-on-year but slightly above guidance.
Record sales of the idle squad RPG Invincible: Guarding the Globe drove the better-than-expected results. Yves Guillemot, co-founder and chief executive officer of Ubisoft, said the rest of the portfolio including Rainbow Six Siege performed in line with expectations.
The report also noted ongoing transformation efforts including targeted rightsizing actions. This follows earlier layoffs at Red Storm Entertainment in March and the closure of studios in Halifax and Stockholm.
