Cass McCombs and Hand Habits release new split 7-inch

Cass McCombs and Hand Habits have collaborated on a new split 7-inch record featuring original songs from each artist. McCombs contributes 'Seeing the Elephant,' accompanied by a music video, while Hand Habits offers 'Good Person.' The release is available via Domino and Fat Possum.

The split 7-inch includes McCombs' track 'Seeing the Elephant,' which is now out with a music video directed by Larry Unrein. The video shows elephants in the wild wagging their tails and drinking water. Hand Habits, led by Meg Duffy, provides 'Good Person.' Both songs are available to stream immediately, as shared by the artists through Domino and Fat Possum labels. Pre-orders for the physical 7-inch are ongoing online. Fans can purchase copies first at McCombs' ongoing tour merchandise tables, tied to his 2025 album Interior Live Oak. Hand Habits will join McCombs as openers for six shows from April 4 to April 11. Lael Neale and Garcia Peoples will take over subsequent dates.
