The Super Bowl trailer depicts Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin and Grogu traversing a Hoth-like snowy landscape amid galactic turmoil after the Empire's fall. Sam Elliott's voiceover states: “Sometimes we choose our path, other times the path chooses us. Through it all, we keep pushing forward, driven by a deeper purpose, guided by an unseen force. The journey never gets any easier, the bond just gets harder to break. This is the way.”
Building on the first trailer released last month—which introduced the story of the New Republic enlisting the Mandalorian bounty hunter and his Force-sensitive apprentice—this spot emphasizes their partnership with theatrical scale.
Favreau, who co-created the Disney+ series, noted: “Bringing Din Djarin and Grogu to the big screen allows us to explore their story in a whole new way, with the scale and spectacle the theater experience deserves.”
Only the second Star Wars trailer to air during the Super Bowl (after 'Solo' in 2018), it positions the film as a Memorial Day weekend opener.
