Ella Langley's Dandelion, released April 10 via SAWGOD/Columbia Records, debuted atop the Billboard 200 with the highest weekly total for any album by a woman this year. According to Luminate, it amassed 169,000 equivalent album units in the United States from April 10 to 16. This marks the biggest one-week sum for a country album by a woman since Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter in 2024 and Langley's first No. 1 on the chart. She becomes the 11th woman this century to lead the Billboard 200 with a country project, following artists like The Chicks, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, and Taylor Swift's multiple entries, most recently Megan Moroney's Cloud 9 last month and now Dandelion on April 25, 2026. Langley simultaneously rose to No. 1 on the Artist 100 chart, her first time leading it. She is the fourth woman to top that ranking after releasing a country album, after Carrie Underwood in 2018, Taylor Swift via re-recordings, and Megan Moroney last month. Fifteen tracks from Dandelion entered the Hot 100, with 'Choosin’ Texas' holding at No. 1 for a seventh week, 'Be Her' reaching a new high at No. 4, and others like 'Bottom of Your Boots' at No. 20 and a collaboration 'Butterfly Season' with Miranda Lambert at No. 71. By leading the Artist 100, Billboard 200, and Hot 100 in the same week, Langley joined Taylor Swift, Adele, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Olivia Rodrigo as only the sixth woman to do so since 2014.
