Enniscrone to host Sligo Chess and Culture Festival

Sligo Chess Club is organizing a new 10-day Sligo Chess and Culture Festival in Enniscrone at the end of January. The event runs from Friday, January 30th to Sunday, February 8th, building on the established Sligo Chess Tournament. The Diamond Coast Hotel will serve as the main hub.

The Sligo Chess and Culture Festival marks a fresh initiative by the Sligo Chess Club, expanding on the annual Sligo Chess Tournament that has gained a steady place in Ireland's chess schedule. Scheduled over 10 days from January 30th to February 8th, the festival aims to blend chess activities with cultural elements in the coastal town of Enniscrone.

The Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone will act as the central venue for the event.
