Garmin launches Zumo XT3 motorcycle GPS with upgrades

Garmin has introduced the Zumo XT3, the latest model in its line of rugged motorcycle GPS devices. The unit comes in 6-inch and 4.7-inch display sizes and includes several technical improvements over the previous XT2 version.

The Zumo XT3 features a 25 Hz Multi-GNSS positioning sensor, up from 10 Hz on the XT2, along with support for SBAS to improve location accuracy. Internal storage has doubled to 64 GB, with support for up to 256 GB via external SD card. A faster processor reduces the time needed to calculate routes. The device maintains the same mount as the XT2 and carries MIL-STD-810G, IPX7, and new IP6X dust resistance ratings. An optional Performance Package adds lean angle tracking and access to track data for an extra $9.99 per month or $99.99 annually. Pricing remains unchanged, with the 6-inch model at $599.99 and the 4.7-inch version at $499.99. The XT3 is now available.
