Gustaf Kangas loaned from Björklöven to Vimmerby

Forward Gustaf Kangas will spend the coming season on loan with Vimmerby in HockeyAllsvenskan after Björklöven's promotion to the SHL. The 20-year-old moves to reunite with a former coach.

Gustaf Kangas arrived at Björklöven from Västerås two seasons ago. He recorded ten points in 44 games last season.

Björklöven sports chief Per Kenttä described the move as a strategic loan focused on long-term growth. "Vimmerby offers a good environment where he can continue to develop as a player and a person," Kenttä said.

Vimmerby sports chief Pelle Johansson welcomed the addition of the two-way center. "We are really happy that Gustaf chooses Vimmerby Hockey," Johansson said.

The loan reunites Kangas with coach Eric Karlsson, who previously worked with him in Västerås.
