Hayley Williams joins Romy for Prefab Sprout cover in London

Hayley Williams performed with Romy of The xx during the first of two shows at London's Roundhouse on June 19.

The Paramore frontwoman invited the guest onstage for a rendition of Prefab Sprout’s 1990 track ‘Wild Horses’ near the end of her set.

The appearance came during Williams’ ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’ tour, which supports her third solo album released last July.

The two singers had previously collaborated on a 2023 reworking of Paramore’s ‘Liar’. Other guests on the tour have included Jenny Lewis, Julien Baker, Jack Antonoff, Bethany Cosentino and Jay Som.

Williams described the solo tour experience as turning her “back into a night owl” and “back into a teenaged dreamer with dark circles.”
