Presidential Chief of Staff Karina Milei has launched an electoral table to prepare Javier Milei's 2027 re-election, focusing on ordering candidacies and alliances with governors. Key figures like Martín Menem and Diego Santilli lead territorial outreach. Internal libertarian militants have criticized her leadership.
Karina Milei, the Presidential Chief of Staff, has activated the 2027 electoral table to design La Libertad Avanza's strategy for Javier Milei's re-election. The initiative aims to build territorial power, order candidacies, and negotiate with allies, addressing a key weakness of the government since taking office.
Martín Menem, Eduardo Menem, and Diego Santilli form the political core articulating with governors and provincial leaders. The officialism began contacts with Rogelio Frigerio of Entre Ríos and Alfredo Cornejo of Mendoza at the Interior Ministry in Casa Rosada. These meetings preview gradual agreements to bolster the electoral setup.
Militants from La Libertad Avanza voiced discontent, however. Streamer Alejandro Sarubbi slammed Karina Milei's leadership as "tibia y cagona," targeting Buenos Aires armador Sebastián Pareja, whom she backs. Sarubbi stated: "Karina trajo a Pareja. Háganse cargo," rejecting obedience to opportunists.
Marcela Pagano targeted Karina Milei's inner circle, saying "Cagaron a todos." Key decisions are deferred until after the 2026 World Cup, prioritizing internal negotiations and leadership consolidation.
