Leanne Season 2 Sets August Release Date on Netflix

Netflix has announced that the second season of the comedy series Leanne will premiere on August 27 with 10 episodes. Several guest stars from prior Chuck Lorre projects are set to appear.

The half-hour series stars Leanne Morgan as a woman whose husband leaves her after 33 years of marriage. She is supported by her sister Carol and other family members as she adjusts to the change.

Season 2 adds guest stars Jaime Pressly, who previously worked with Kristen Johnston on Mom, and Billy Gardell, known for Mike & Molly. Tyne Daly will appear alongside her brother Tim Daly, who recurs as Andrew. Country singer Lainey Wilson is also scheduled to guest star.

The returning cast includes Leanne Morgan, Kristen Johnston, Celia Weston, Blake Clark, Ryan Stiles, Jayma Mays, Tim Daly, Graham Rogers, Hannah Pilkes and Andrea Anders. Season 1 premiered on July 31, 2025.
