Lembang charm attracts international tourists during school holidays

International tourists have begun arriving in Lembang, West Bandung Regency, to enjoy school holidays amid a variety of natural attractions.

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, tourism operators in the Lembang area recorded arrivals of group and international visitors. One busy site was The Great Asia Africa, known for replicas of cultures from eight Asian and African countries.

Aqilah, a tourist from Sabah, Malaysia, said she took special leave to vacation with family. She cited Lembang's many attractions such as Orchid Forest and its cooler climate compared to Malaysia.

Aqilah added plans to visit Ciwidey the next day. Tourism operators noted the uptick coinciding with the start of school holidays.
