Madonna premieres Confessions II film at Tribeca Festival

Madonna premiered her 13-minute visual project Confessions II at the Tribeca Festival on June 5 at New York's Beacon Theatre. The short film centers on the first six tracks from her upcoming album of the same name, due July 3.

The premiere featured a sold-out screening followed by a Q&A moderated by Anderson Cooper with directors David Toro and Solomon Chase. Madonna discussed the project's creation and her recent Times Square pop-up performance the night before. The film includes cameos from Benedict Cumberbatch, Sabrina Carpenter, Feid, Debi Mazar, Julia Garner, Honey Dijon, Shygirl and Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon.
