A video circulating on social media shows a military police officer kicking a woman in the face while she is lying on the ground, in the hall of a building on Rua Amador Bueno da Ribeira, Gonzaguinha neighborhood, São Vicente, southern coast of São Paulo. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 18, during a call response. According to a neighbor, the resident was in a psychotic episode, prompting police presence. In the footage, the woman tries to grab a female officer's leg, at which point another agent kicks her. She begins to cry and blood appears on the floor. The Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) stated that the victim received care from the Mobile Emergency Medical Service (Samu) and was taken to the emergency room at Hospital Humaitá. Metrópoles reported that she has been discharged and returned to the building. Military Police has opened a Military Police Inquiry (IPM) to investigate. “The images recorded by the officers' portable operational cameras (COPs) are being analyzed. The institution repudiates excesses, deviations of conduct, and emphasizes that, if any irregularity is found, those responsible will be punished,” PM stated via SSP.

São Paulo's Public Ministry requested that Lt. Col. Geraldo Leite Rosa Neto, charged with feminicide and procedural fraud in his wife Gisele Alves Santana's death, pay R$ 100k indemnity to her family. A retired major of the Military Police was arrested on Saturday night in Santo André, in the São Paulo metropolitan area, suspected of assaulting his wife and disrespecting attending officers. Two military police officers from Baep were caught on video assaulting a 24-year-old suspect during an approach in Cândido Mota, inland São Paulo, on December 17 last year. The footage shows the agents demanding the man's phone password without a judicial warrant. The force stated it will investigate the case.

The death of PM soldier Gisele Alves Santana, 32, initially treated as suicide, is now investigated as homicide after a report reveals lesions on her neck and face. Her husband, Lieutenant Colonel Geraldo Leite Rosa Neto, 53, is the main suspect due to the couple's abusive relationship. Civil Police plan to request his arrest after a meeting with the PM Corregedoria.

Military police officer Marcionílio Sancho Cambuhy Junior, known online as Sancho Loko, was arrested in flagrante in Curitiba for possessing irregular ammunition during a Gaeco operation. The probe targets a group suspected of torture, procedural fraud, bodily injury, and ideological falsehood. His arrest was converted to preventive detention.

Messages from Lieutenant Colonel Geraldo Leite Rosa Neto to his wife, soldier Gisele Alves Santana, reveal a male dominance ideology shortly before he was accused of killing her on February 18. The officer, jailed in São Paulo, denies the crime and has a history of harassment complaints against women in the Military Police. Investigators link the rhetoric to controlling practices in the relationship.
