Model Natalia Barulich sues over $2.1 million LA apartment heist

Natalia Barulich is hitting back at a luxury Los Angeles building after a massive burglary cleaned her out. The model claims broken promises of ironclad security led to the $2.1 million loss.

Natalia Barulich signed a $12,000-a-month lease at 8500 Burton Way after being promised round-the-clock security and zero break-in history. While she was overseas in October 2025, thieves slipped in, rode the elevator undetected and spent hours emptying her place of designer bags, watches and jewelry worth more than $2.1 million. Barulich says the building’s cameras, locks and access systems failed completely and that staff later called it an inside job.
