New Madonna book to feature Ken Regan photos

A new photo book titled Madonna: Into the Groove is scheduled for release in October. It will showcase never-before-seen images of the singer from 1985 taken by photographer Ken Regan.

The 200-page book captures Madonna during her Virgin Tour, her Live Aid performance, and her role in the film Desperately Seeking Susan. Images include both intimate moments and public appearances such as studio sessions, hotel settings, gym workouts, and stage performances.

Text for the book was written by former Rolling Stone staff writer Tomás Mier. Mier called the project an absolute honor and praised Regan for approaching subjects with empathy and respect.

Ken Regan, who died in 2012, was known for photographing figures including Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, and Bob Dylan. Pre-orders for the book are available through Insight Editions and Simon and Schuster.
