Old School RuneScape launches Demonic Pacts league

Old School RuneScape has released its sixth limited-time league event, Demonic Pacts, which began on April 15 and will run until June 10. More than 150,000 players joined within hours of launch. The event shifts players to Varlamore and introduces demonic pacts that alter gameplay.

Old School RuneScape kicked off Demonic Pacts, its latest league, on April 15. Players start in Varlamore, bypassing the usual Lumbridge and Draynor areas. The event has already drawn over 150,000 participants shortly after launch, offering a faster-paced experience in the MMO world dominated by the entity Yama. Boosted XP rates and infinite run energy allow quicker progression through levels and tasks. Relics provide powerful benefits, including effortless resource gathering and automatic smelting and cooking. Demonic pacts function like a skill tree, unlocked by completing specific tasks. These pacts enable unique builds, such as crossbows that always deal maximum damage, transforming slower weapons into high-power options. Players can respec their pacts freely to experiment with different setups. Tasks range from simple activities like milking a buffalo, getting a haircut, crying in front of a child, or picking cabbages, to more challenging ones. Completing them earns trophies and cosmetics that transfer to the main Old School RuneScape servers.
