Onad diagnosed with peter pan syndrome stuck at age 19

Onadio Leonardo, known as Onad, revealed he was diagnosed with Peter Pan Syndrome during his three-month drug rehabilitation. Psychologists assessed his mentality as stuck at age 19, despite his biological age being older. He also regrets occasional drug use for relaxation that led to his arrest.

Onadio Leonardo, known as Onad and former vocalist of Killing Me Inside, has just completed a three-month drug rehabilitation after his arrest by police. In an interview on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel on February 2, 2026, Onad opened up about the psychological diagnosis he received.

During rehab, Onad underwent daily psychological assessments because the medical team was puzzled by his case, which went beyond substance abuse. Psychologists diagnosed him with Peter Pan Syndrome, a condition where an individual struggles to move past a youthful 'golden age' phase.

"Terkena Peter Pan syndrome," Onad revealed. He added, "Nyangkut di umur. Jadi ternyata lu itu nggak bisa move on dari umur golden age lu yang 19."

The diagnosis surprised Onad, who admitted his mentality remains like that of a 19-20-year-old, affecting how he thinks and handles life's challenges. As the husband of Beby Prisillia, he acknowledged the impact on his family.

Onad also confessed his reason for using drugs: occasional relaxation, which he thought was safe if not daily. "Karena yang gua tau (nyimeng) untuk relaksasi it works tapi salah. Cuma gua lupa betapa berisikonya lu bermain itu," he said.

He regrets his misguided mindset. "Gua tuh punya pola pikir yang salah Om Ded, menurut gua nyimeng sesekali itu nggak apa-apa. Misalnya lu nyimeng enam bulan sekali, tiga bulan sekali, di otak gua yang goblok ini it’s okay karena kan nggak yang setiap hari."

The arrest was a turning point. "Ternyata gua salah datanglah saat (hari apes) itu tiba, salah, lu menyalahi hukum itu," he stated. Onad concluded the experience was not worth it: "Eh ternyata nggak worth it ya pas ketangkep."

This case highlights emotional immaturity issues among Indonesian celebrities, with Onad vowing to learn from his mistakes.
