Producer Kazuhisa Wada said Atlus plans minor changes to the character Yosuke in the upcoming Persona 4 Revival to reduce his insensitivity toward outsiders.
Wada made the comments during an interview at Anime Expo with Anime Corner. He noted that Yosuke can be insensitive in how he treats outsiders and that the team wanted to lighten that aspect to better fit the current world.
The changes focus on Yosuke's treatment of characters like Kanji without altering the overall story or core character actions. Images from the remake also show adjustments to Kanji's shadow, which now holds male and female symbols instead of two male ones.
Persona 4 Revival is scheduled to release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on February 18.
