Fashion brand Pleasures has teamed up with running shoe maker Altra to release the Experience Flow 3 in a new “Satellite” colorway. The sneaker features a metallic silver-blue upper designed to evoke the blur of motion. It will go on sale April 14 for $160.
The collaboration blends Altra's performance running technology with Pleasures' punk-inspired aesthetic. The “Satellite” edition sports silver paint accents streaking across the upper, mimicking a runner's speed. Pleasures co-founder Alex James said the silver tones draw from the speed and stealth of the color, inspired by LCD Soundsystem's “Sound of Silver” album, which has become their running anthem. James added that partnering with Altra's advanced research built confidence in the shoe's capabilities. Altra's design includes a low heel-to-toe drop and roomy toe box for natural foot alignment. The Experience Flow 3 platform supports efficient movement, while branding remains subtle on the tongue and laces. The shoe will be available at Altra and Pleasures stores starting April 14.
