Raphaël Glucksmann reaches out to socialists and ecologists at first meeting

The Place Publique MEP held his first meeting on Saturday at the Docks d’Aubervilliers before 4000 people according to organizers. Not yet officially declared as a 2027 presidential candidate, he affirmed his intent to unite the left.

Raphaël Glucksmann took the stage on Saturday at the Docks d’Aubervilliers after shaking many hands. He paid tribute to Lyhanna, the 11-year-old schoolgirl found dead the previous week.

The founder of Place Publique stated: « The next president will have to give France back its freedom and sovereignty ». He also said: « I know what I owe them » while reaching out to socialists and ecologists.

The meeting, described as a moment of affirmation rather than a launch, took place before around 4000 activists. Glucksmann has given himself until summer to decide on his Élysée candidacy.
