A smaller area of undergrowth burned on an undeveloped cape in Skelleftehamn on Tuesday morning. The fire covered an area of about 50 by 50 meters.
The alarm came shortly before ten o'clock. Magnus Åkervik at SOS Alarm said there were buildings nearby and that they wanted to get control of the fire quickly.
Around 10:20 they started to get control of the fire. It was extinguished shortly after eleven. Anna Jonsson at Räddningssamverkan Nord said quite a few units had fought the fire from two directions.
There was no danger of spreading according to Åkervik.
