Terpel advances divestment of service stations in Ecuador

Terpel is advancing a divestment process for its service station network in Ecuador. The move is part of a strategy to focus efforts on markets and businesses of greater strategic interest, such as lubricants.

The Colombian company aims to strengthen its business lines with greater growth and profitability potential in lubricants in Peru and Ecuador.

The divestment of Terpel's own service stations is expected to be completed during this year. In contrast, the affiliated station network will proceed gradually and is estimated to conclude by the end of 2030.

Transaction execution may be subject to precedent conditions and applicable legal requirements. Until those conditions are met, Terpel will continue operating the assets in the ordinary course of its business, according to the company's statement.
