Tinashe announces new album Popstar

Tinashe has announced her new album Popstar, set for release on September 25 via Atlantic. The project follows her 2024 release Quantum Baby and includes the new single Crash Out.

Tinashe made the announcement after sharing a video of herself smashing cars in Silver Lake. The album features last month's single Too Easy along with the new crunk-inflected track Crash Out.

On Crash Out, Tinashe sing-raps, “The American dream is outdated, now they sitting on the internet hating.”

Her previous full-length album 333 came out in 2021. She has since released the shorter projects BB/Ang3l in 2023 and Quantum Baby in 2024, which included the single Nasty.
