Top global funds show strong three-year returns

Several international mutual funds have delivered gains exceeding 40 percent over three years.

Nippon India Taiwan Equity Fund led with a 64.14 percent return over three years and 206.71 percent over one year. Mirae Asset NYSE FANG+ ETF FoF followed with 51.09 percent over three years.

Among 68 high-priced stocks trading above Rs 5,000 on the BSE, FY26 has brought more declines than gains amid global uncertainty and geopolitical tensions. The top six laggards fell 25-40%, while top gainers surged 40-130%. Institutional holdings vary across these stocks.

Multi-asset allocation funds delivered returns between 3.3% and 24.6% last year. Investors increased allocations to these products amid challenging market conditions.

Twelve equity mutual funds in India have achieved net asset values exceeding Rs 1,000, delivering up to 24% compound annual growth rates since their inception. Eleven of these funds have operated for more than 25 years, providing consistent double-digit returns amid market ups and downs. The John Hancock Global Shareholder Yield Fund achieved a positive return in the fourth quarter of 2025, surpassing its benchmark, the MSCI World Index. Stock selections in the information technology and financials sectors drove the fund's strong performance. The fund aims to provide a high level of income alongside some capital appreciation.
