Van Cleef & Arpels introduced two new additions to its Midnight collection at Watches and Wonders 2026, emphasizing celestial themes. CEO Catherine Renier described the year as one of “celestial wonders,” aligning with NASA's Artemis II lunar flyby. The models are the Midnight Jour Nuit Phase de Lune and the Midnight Heure d’ici & Heure d’ailleurs.
At the Watches and Wonders 2026 event, Van Cleef & Arpels showcased the Midnight Jour Nuit Phase de Lune, a 42mm white gold watch with a jet-black dial crafted from in-house developed black Murano aventurine glass. The dial features a guilloché golden sun and a white mother-of-pearl moon surrounded by acrylic-traced stars, animated by a 24-hour rotating disc that simulates a 29.5-day lunar cycle. A pusher activates a 360-degree animation, bringing the moon into view, while the case back displays a white gold Moon engraving and an enamel Earth above the rotor with painted planets.
