Washington Capitals sign Theodor Niederbach to one-year deal

The Washington Capitals have signed forward Theodor Niederbach to a one-year, two-way contract worth 1.025 million dollars.

The 24-year-old Swedish player agreed to the deal after a strong season with Frölunda, where he recorded 32 points in 52 games. The contract, confirmed by the club on Thursday, includes a two-way structure that allows for movement between the NHL and AHL at a minor-league rate of 85,000 dollars.
