Embark Studios has released the Shrouded Sky update (v1.17.0) for Arc Raiders, the February installment of the Escalation roadmap, adding a hurricane map condition and two new ARC enemies to the Rust Belt. It also includes weapon balancing, a free Surgeon raider deck, facial hair customization, and numerous fixes.
Embark Studios released the Riven Tides update for Arc Raiders on April 28, introducing a new coastal map, a floating Arc Turbine enemy, and several balancing changes. The update features new items, events, and map conditions to refresh gameplay in the extraction shooter. Players are already debating the weapon economy adjustments.

Embark Studios plans significant changes to the skill trees in Arc Raiders, according to design director Virgil Watkins. The studio has already confirmed adjustments to progression resets for the next Expedition launching on April 28. Watkins shared these insights during an interview on Game Maker's Notebook.
Embark Studios has completed an investigation into recent exploits in Arc Raiders and begun issuing actions against abusers. The studio released update 1.000.023 on February 17, 2026, to enforce penalties including warnings, coin removals, and suspensions. This follows glitches that disrupted the game's economy and player experience.

Nexon reported a 6.5 percent increase in revenue for 2025, reaching 475.1 billion yen, or about 3.1 billion dollars, marking the third consecutive year of record highs.
