Adrian Appiolaza exits Moschino after two and a half years

Moschino has announced the departure of creative director Adrian Appiolaza. The Argentinian designer led the Aeffe Group-owned brand for two and a half years. A successor will be confirmed later.

The announcement came on Friday from executive chairman Massimo Ferretti. He thanked Appiolaza for his contribution and wished him success in future endeavors.

Appiolaza joined Moschino in January 2024. He had previously worked at Loewe for a decade and held roles at Chloé, Louis Vuitton, and Miu Miu.

The exit occurs amid restructuring at Aeffe Group. Revenues fell 24.5 percent as of September 2025, leading to a pre-bankruptcy filing in November. Riccardo Bagolin was appointed general manager on June 3 to support the turnaround.
