A 23-year-old woman who disappeared from Northport, Alabama, more than a week ago has been found dead, and a local man now faces charges in connection with the case.

Randall Lendell Dejourney, 44, is accused of abuse of a corpse in the death of Karen Hollis. Authorities discovered her remains on Saturday afternoon after her family searched an area identified through electronic evidence. Hollis had been reported missing on May 8 following what her family described as a car crash and disappearance.
