Former tennis star Andy Roddick has shared his views on Marketa Vondrousova's four-year doping ban. Roddick spoke on the Served Podcast about the case involving a refused test in December 2025.
Roddick said his support depends on whether the tester arrived during Vondrousova's designated one-hour window. He explained that players must provide a daily testing hour, and he would reject any visit outside that slot.
Vondrousova was banned by the ITIA after refusing access to her home. She cited acute stress linked to a 2016 home invasion involving fellow player Petra Kvitova, but the ruling found no compelling justification.
Roddick noted that the ITIA did not address timing in its statement. He added that the outcome would shift if the visit occurred outside the allotted hour, as Vondrousova claimed.
