A CB Global Data poll shows the presidents of El Salvador and Mexico holding the top spots in favorability among Latin American leaders, though both recorded slight declines from June.

Nayib Bukele took first place with 67.4 percent positive image, a drop of 1.7 points from the previous month. Claudia Sheinbaum, president of Mexico, placed second with 65.1 percent favorability, 0.4 points below June.

Laura Fernández, president of Costa Rica, completed the podium with 55.5 percent support. Last place went to Delcy Rodríguez, acting president of Venezuela, with just 22.7 percent backing and a 6.8-point decline.

The survey ran from July 3 to 8, 2026, across 18 Latin American countries, with a margin of error between 1.2 and 1.4 percentage points. José María Balcázar, interim president of Peru, improved his standing by gaining 4.8 points to reach 23 percent approval.
