Charli XCX has released her new single “SS26,” a synth-driven track that continues themes from her recent work. The song comes with a music video directed by Torso.
Charli XCX released the track on Thursday. In the song she sings lines including “Spring Summer 26 / When the world is gonna end no hope for any of it” and “Yeah we’re walking on a runway that goes straight to hell.” The video shows her walking in various outfits along a runway before stepping off into darkness. It includes cameos from Abra and former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld.
