Delhi CM Rekha Gupta asks ministers to submit project achievement report cards

As the BJP-led government in Delhi nears its first year in power, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has directed all ministers to submit detailed report cards on their departments' achievements over the past year. Officials say departments have been given a specific format covering schemes, projects, and works, including inaugurated projects, foundation stones laid, and those in final stages or scheduled ahead.

The BJP-led government ended the Aam Aadmi Party's 10-year rule in Delhi last year, returning to power after 27 years. With the one-year mark approaching, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has instructed ministers to provide a comprehensive overview of their departments' accomplishments.

According to officials, the reports must follow a designated format detailing schemes, projects, and works. This includes information on projects inaugurated, foundation stones laid, and those either in final stages or scheduled for launch. Departments are also required to include budget allocations and project costs. In response, ministers have begun conducting review meetings.

The Chief Minister's Office has further requested reports on plans and projects for the coming year, including those that could feature in the upcoming budget. Meanwhile, the government is preparing a week-long program to mark the BJP's first year in office in Delhi.

Among the priorities of the BJP administration are the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Ayushman Arogya Mandir, redevelopment of 600 km of roads, and efforts to clean the Yamuna river. These report cards aim to highlight progress and outline future initiatives for the public.
