Election Board rules on complaints in 86 districts

The Ethiopian National Election Board has ruled on complaints in 86 of 129 election districts where political parties raised issues. The board announced the decisions on June 17.

The board examined complaints and evidence in 75 districts and rejected them. Complaints remain pending in 10 districts.

In one district a recount took place with representatives from political parties present. The board said it will issue decisions on the remaining 43 districts in the coming days.
