Ethiopia Tamrit Movement addresses manufacturing challenges in Amhara Region

The Ethiopia Tamrit Movement has enabled 158 medium and high manufacturing industries in the Amhara Region to begin production in a new form. The regional Industry and Investment Bureau stated these industries have started output under the initiative.

The regional closing program of the Ethiopia Tamrit Movement is being held in Kombolcha town. Amhara Region President Arega Kebede, Industry Minister Melaku Alebel and other federal and regional senior officials attended the event. Office Deputy Head Teferi Tarekegn said the movement has been resolving problems in the manufacturing industry sector. He noted that investors' questions have been addressed step by step. The bureau indicated that in the current budget year, 158 industries began production in a new form in recent months alone. At the program, 145 industries are showcasing their products and services. The slogan is “Ethiopia Tamrit for all-round sovereignty”.
