Faith No More plans 2027 reunion shows with System of a Down

Faith No More will reunite for four stadium shows in Australia and New Zealand next year alongside System of a Down. The dates mark the band's first live performances since 2016.

The band announced the run on Instagram on July 26. The shows are set to begin January 22 in Sydney at Accor Stadium, followed by January 27 in Melbourne at Marvel Stadium, February 1 in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium, and February 7 in Wellington at HNRY Stadium.

These concerts come after earlier reunion attempts were canceled. Plans for 2020 were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and later scrapped in 2021 over mental health concerns cited by vocalist Mike Patton, who was later diagnosed with agoraphobia.

Faith No More last performed in 2016 with original singer Chuck Mosley and in 2015 with Patton. The group teased the 2027 dates with an Instagram post in June that featured a fan image and the year "2027."
