Fell stallion Bracklinn Sonny Bill wins 2026 Windsor M&M championship

Five-year-old Fell stallion Bracklinn Sonny Bill captured the 2026 Windsor M&M in-hand championship at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The pony, known at home as Guardian, was led by breeder Alistair Smith in the Castle Arena. He had earlier secured the Fell championship before advancing to the supreme title.

Bracklinn Sonny Bill is owned by Leah Cassell, who first spotted the pony as a foal at a Fell Pony Society show. Cassell, along with rider Hollie Mcgauley and her mother Lindsay, has guided the stallion through his novice season under saddle. “As soon as I saw him, I was like, ‘Mum, Hollie – I want him,’” Cassell said. “Since then, it’s just been a dream.”
