Hanhart launches limited Thermosphere watch for firefighters

Hanhart has released a new tool watch called the Thermosphere, created with input from the Baden-Württemberg State Firefighters Association. The limited edition of 112 pieces features a rotating bezel designed for monitoring breathing apparatus during operations.

The 42mm watch builds on the Aquasphere series but adapts the bezel for firefighting use. Users align a triangle marker with the minute hand at the start of a deployment to track time, with indicators for 30-minute and 60-minute air cylinder durations.

The design includes a dark blue dial with yellow, red and blue accents, luminous markers using Super-LumiNova, and the association emblem on the dial and case back. The number 112 appears at the 12 o'clock position.

Specifications include a unidirectional bezel with blue ceramic insert, 30-bar water resistance, a helium valve and either a Sellita SW200-1 or Soprod P024 automatic movement regulated to 0/+8 seconds per day. Prices start at €1,540 on a textile strap or €1,740 on a bracelet, including VAT.
