Havana will see slightly cool early mornings and isolated rains along the north coast from January 9 to 14. High temperatures will range from 25 to 29 ºC, with lows between 20 and 21 ºC. Migratory high pressures will maintain a dry and stable air mass.
No rain has been reported in Havana over the last twelve hours. The marked influence of migratory high pressures persists, imposing a dry and stable air mass that limits precipitation and maintains a regime of scarce rainfall.
Over the coming days, the capital will dawn with little cloud cover in most areas, except along the north coast where it will be partly cloudy. From late morning onward, it will be partly cloudy, becoming occasionally overcast in the afternoon in some north coast localities with isolated showers.
Winds will mainly come from the northeast, at speeds between 15 and 30 kilometers per hour. Relative humidity will range from 55% to 80%. Highs will be between 25 and 29 ºC (77 and 84 ºF), and lows between 20 and 21 ºC (68 and 70 ºF). The sea surface temperature will be 26 ºC (79 ºF).
This forecast, by Adrian Fuentes, underscores the overall stable weather in the area.
